STAMFORD, Conn. – With much of the spotlight in August on local politics and midterm primaries, Spectrum News continued to serve as the go-to source for locally-relevant and objective news among Spectrum customers. Throughout the month, Spectrum News averaged more than 2.3 million daily viewing households across its linear and digital platforms, outperforming ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, as well as CNN, Fox News and MSNBC in average daily viewership.*

In Spectrum News’ Nielsen-rated markets, Austin recorded an 18% month-over-month increase in viewership, outpacing local broadcast stations ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, CNN and Fox News. Orlando (9%) also recorded month-over-month ratings growth, with higher increases in viewership than ABC, CBS, FOX, CNN, Fox News and MSNBC.**
